This is my first review of 2023 and I’m excited to tell you about it. Tesla made their way back to Tampa and put on an electrifying performance. It has been a while since I’ve seen them, and they did not disappoint. The Seminole Hard Rock Casino And Hotel Of Tampa Event Center on Jan 19. 2023 was filled with excitement and energy, and they sounded so good. Jeff Keith’s vocals were spot on as he belted out song after song. Guitarists Frank Hannon ripped up the fretboard and Dave Rude got to flex his shred muscle as well. Bassist Brian Wheat and drummer Steve Brown held down a solid foundation driving the rhythm section, while the band took the audience on a non-stop trip to one hell of a good time.

Tesla the Band did not waste any time getting down to business. They opened the night with “Modern Day Cowboy,” and followed that with “Hang Tough.” The third song was a treat as they performed a new song, “Time to Rock.” It was a plethora of all the fan favs. (See full set list below) It truly was a good time full of feel good music from a great band. The crowd sang along to every song, feeding that tesla coil the current it needed to keep going. At the end, all I could think was wow, what a great show and how glad I was to be there to see it.

I also want to take the time to say if you haven’t been to a show at the Seminole Hard Rock Event Center in Tampa, what are you waiting for? This is a great venue to see some of the best acts in music and much more. It is one of my favorite venues. With that, I want to thank the staff at the Hard Rock for everything they do to allow us to be there to cover these great shows. Here’s to a great 2023 filled with a lot of great concerts. Now go out and see a show!!!!
