It’s a Sunday evening and I find myself in New Port Richey, Florida at the Chasco Fiesta. The crowd is enjoying all the food and drinks waiting for Night Ranger to take the stage. Local band Fire and Ice were on the stage and I decided to take some pictures. Good thing I did, because Jack Blades from Night Ranger came out and started singing with Rosemary and it took her by surprise.
The sun had set, and the stage was dark. The stage lights came on and moving around and the crowd came alive as Night Ranger appeared from the dark. Everyone was on their feet. I noticed there was only four of them on stage. Guitarist Keri Kelli did some heavy lifting covering all the guitar parts, as Brad Gillis was not able to make it due to a leg injury.
As expected they played the whole gambit of their popular songs and even played songs from The Damn Yankees, a project that Jack Blades was part of with Tommy Shaw, Michael Cartellone and Ted Nugent.
The Current members of Night Ranger are:
Jack Blades (bass, vocals), Kelly Keagy (drums, vocals), Brad Gillis (lead & rhythm guitars), Eric Levy (keyboards) and Keri kelly (lead & rhythm guitars).
