It’s Tuesday June 7, 2022 and Jesse McCartney is in town to perform at Janus Landing for his New Stage Tour. McCartney put on an entertaining show, performing his past hits and new songs like “Kiss the World Goodbye” and “Party for Two”. Jesse got his start as an actor on All My Children playing JR Chandler in the 1990’s. McCartney’s debut album, Beautiful Soul, was released in 2004. He won multiple Teen Choice Awards in 2005. In 2007 he co-wrote the hit song “Bleeding Love” with Ryan Tedder of One Republic. This song was released by British singer Leona Lewis on her album Spirit. One of the stand out performances came from 21-year-old LA based pop artist and social media personality, Casey Baer. Casey has been touring with McCartney to support her 6 song Ep release, Not That Girl. Casey’s performance was energetic, her vocals were strong, and her songs ranged from ballads, to pop rock anthems about break ups and life experiences. This night was a special night because Casey was celebrating the birthday of her mother who was also in attendance. Happy Birthday Momma Baer!!!
Casey has amassed a large following via social media. She has over 350k followers on TikTok and 167k on Instagram. She’s been bolstered by Billboard, Radio Disney and Spotify. Baer has also been fortunate to work with some well-known producers like, Jordan Omley (Brandy, Leona Lewis, Backstreet Boys) and Michael Mani (Lady Gaga, Tori Kelly, JoJo).

Jamie Miller took the stage after Casey Baer. Miller is a Welsh singer currently based in LA. He was featured on the UK version of The Voice, where he came in third place. It wasn’t that long ago that he was working in a call center, wondering how to make his dream to become a singer a reality. He made his mark via social media as well, he has over 450 million global streams and more than 200 million official YouTube views. He talked about how he met with people in the industry and they told him he wasn’t good enough. That really made him want it more. He started to get noticed via his social media and people like Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Sam Smith, and Jennifer Hudson started to follow him.
Miller released the song “Here’s your Perfect” in 2021, which spent 13 weeks on Billboard’s Global Excl. US Charts gaining over 350 million YouTube views and praise from Rolling Stone. Miller’s performance was solid. His voice was smooth, and he wasn’t afraid to show off his range and to flirt with the girls in the crowd.
After his performance, he made his way down to the front of the stage to meet the fans to sign autographs and take selfies. Many artists don’t do this these days or they charge outrages amounts for meet and greet passes.
