Tampa Bay Music News is the largest digital portal for local music news in Tampa, FL. We cover ONLY MUSIC NEWS in this market so our over 26K readers on Facebook are local avid music lovers. Our posts reach over 600K eyeballs a month. We cover jazz, folk, classic rock, funk, metal and hard rock. We have a team of 6 photographers 4 writers and our own video crew.

Tampa Bay Music News has covered every major festival and venue in Tampa Bay such as the Jazz Holiday Festival, The Coral Head Music Fest and the band Lifehouse at Ruth Eckerd Hall. We’ve covered Third Eye Blind at Jannus LIVE, Blue Oyster Cult and Pennywise at Fergs. In addition we’ve featured interviews with a host of artist from Robin Zander (Cheap Trick), Lita Ford, Tantric, Better Than Ezra , Daughtry, Buckcherry, Sister Hazel, Warren Brothers and so many others.

After graduating from New York University he went on to a very stellar career in public relations and advertising. Now, since relocating to Tampa from NY he found the music scene here so vibrant it lured him back to music again. Tim “Chaz" Dykes

Chaz is a unique combination photographer and musician. He is the set photographer for HGTV’s , 100 Day Dream Home. He’s a bass player whose local credits include The Hunks of Funk, The Untouchables Gary Schutt and his original band was BLAK (Voted best of the Bay). Chaz National Credits include, Jeff Scott Soto, Jewel, Mike Lynche and many others.

John Johnson

John is a Tampa native and an immensely passionate music lover. He’s currently the Creative Director for PDQ Chicken, and in the past worked as lead designer for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, receiving a 2002 Super Bowl ring. As Art Director for Big 3 Records, he created art for Cheap Trick (Rockford and Sargent Peppers album covers), Stryper and Jon Secada among others. With his two children in college, he has more time to attend concerts with his wife of 30 years. His love for his hometown of Tampa, is only surpassed by his admiration of a diverse range of musical styles.

Photojournalist Jeffrey Moellering is a Tampa Bay area-based photographer and journalist, who moved to the area in 1995. As a lifelong music enthusiast of all genres, he decided to pick up a camera and keyboard as a means to document and promote the vibrant local arts community. You’d be equally likely to run into Jeff attending an avant-garde arts festival, neighborhood pub or concert hall, as he absorbs them all. Dave “Moto” Bishop is a Photojournalist residing in Tampa Fl. He is Founder/President of Fastlane for Christ, A Christian Motorcycle Ministry. Mr. Bishop is a Nationally published music writer, photographer and videographer working with many national and local bands. His photos and reviews have been published in a variety of magazines. He is Owner and CEO of Fastlane MusicMedia, where he produces music videos for a variety of musical acts as well as both promotional and live action photographs.

Raul Toro is a Clearwater based photographer and writer. Raul had a passion for music ever since he was 8 years old and was exposed to classical greats like Chopin, Mozart, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky. He would develop a love for not only music but writing and photography growing up in the North Florida punk-rock skater scene. Raul has been an avid supporter of local artists of every type of media.. Raul is also a former podcaster and currently runs his own website dedicated to his photography projects and his writings.
